The Speed Rumbler (known as Rush & Crash in Japan) was released by Capcom in 1986 for the arcade platform. Set at the beginning of the 21st century, a terrorist organization known as "ZAP" has attacked the village of the protagonist, Super Joe, and kidnapped his family. Players must drive an armed off-road vehicle called the "V-6 Blue Mercury" to break through wasteland levels swarming with enemies. The core gameplay is divided into vehicular and infantry combat.

• While driving, use the main cannon to clear obstacles and press the B button to jump over roadblocks or enemy vehicles. Pay attention to the fuel system; you must pick up "P" icons to refuel, otherwise the vehicle will explode, forcing the protagonist out.
• In infantry mode, the character has higher mobility but extremely weak defense; it is recommended to find the next available vehicle as quickly as possible.
