This title not only continues the classic trackball control scheme but also significantly increases the complexity of the battlefield. The screen is filled not only with mushrooms that block your shots, but also various flowers that will sprout to alter the centipede's path. The newly added DDT (insecticide) can is a key strategic element; shooting it will release a large poison cloud. As you advance through the levels, the insects' movement speed increases exponentially, requiring players to maintain extreme focus amidst the on-screen chaos.
The key to getting a high score is to clear out the mushroom patches. Mushrooms act as "steps" for the centipede to descend; the more mushrooms there are, the faster it will drop. Whenever you get an opening, prioritize clearing the mushrooms at the bottom of the screen to give yourself some breathing room.
Regarding the DDT can: don't shoot it on sight. The best time to shoot it is when a centipede's body is fully within the poison cloud's effective range, as this can wipe out an entire segment. Be careful to avoid the spiders that suddenly rush in from the sides, as their movement patterns are random. If any centipede segments reach the bottom of the screen, prioritize taking out these immediate threats. Stay mobile within the bottom quarter of the screen, and be careful not to get trapped in a dead end surrounded by mushrooms.
