• Gem Upgrade Mechanic: Gems in the game come in three colors: red, yellow, and blue, each corresponding to a different one of the character's special moves. Therefore, using a "Guard Break" attack to force the opponent to drop gems and quickly picking them up is key to establishing an advantage.
• Costume Combo: This is a very practical system where simply pressing the attack buttons in sequence causes your character to perform a series of costume-change attacks. Although these combos have a lower damage ceiling than manual combos, they are highly reliable for attacking opponents as they're getting up or for counter-attacking.
