Game Details:

This game is a classic example of the "pseudo-3D" shooters from the early 90s. While the backgrounds feature a perspective with depth, the interaction between the character and the crosshair is incredibly smooth. The game's most outstanding feature is its bizarre and hardcore aesthetic design; enemies are often grotesque, half-mechanical, half-biological monstrosities, and the explosion effects are spectacular. The game supports two-player co-op, where players must traverse ruined cities, secret factories, and wastelands. Besides standard weapons, players can also pick up powerful items to temporarily boost their rate of fire and destructive power. It's a hardcore arcade title that truly tests hand-eye coordination.

Strategy Guide:

• Utilize the Slide and Invincibility Frames: Unlike simple left-right movement, the roll/slide maneuver in this game has immense tactical value. By pressing the jump button with a directional input right as a bullet is about to hit, you can use the momentary invincibility to pass through bullet-hell patterns. Mastering this move is your only chance of survival when facing the screen-filling chaos of later stages.
• Prioritize Eliminating "Snipers": Special enemy types wielding laser weapons or homing missiles will often appear randomly on screen. Their projectiles are much faster than those of regular grunts. When a battle starts, use your crosshair to quickly sweep for these high-threat targets before dealing with the slower-moving tanks or heavy units.
• Cover Destruction Mechanics: Much of the cover in the environment can temporarily block bullets, but it is also destructible. If a piece of cover is about to break, remember not to camp behind it; plan your movement path in advance. Additionally, destroying certain structures in the environment often drops medals that upgrade your firepower, which is key to clearing stages more efficiently.
• The Strategic Value of Grenades: Don't save your grenades for last. When multiple high-HP elite enemies appear on screen, decisively unleash your area-of-effect attack. Grenades not only clear out nearby grunts but also have an instant bullet-clearing effect, making them a lifesaver when you're surrounded.
