Game Details:

Mario Kart: Super Circuit was jointly developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo. The game perfectly leverages the GBA's hardware capabilities, achieving incredibly smooth pseudo-3D scaling effects through dual-layer scrolling backgrounds. It features a roster of 8 classic characters, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Bowser, categorized into Light, Medium, and Heavy weight classes. The game includes 40 content-rich tracks (comprised of 20 brand-new courses and all tracks perfectly recreated from the original SNES game) and incorporates the classic item battle mode and coin collection mechanics, bringing the thrill of handheld drifting and racing to its peak.

Game Guide:

The core gameplay revolves around "drift speed compensation" and "precise item countering."

Pro Tips:

To claim the championship in the highest difficulty (150cc), you must master drifting: hold the R button to hop while turning and slide in the direction of the D-pad to corner without losing speed. Coins scattered across the track not only increase your kart's top speed but also act as armor to prevent spin-outs when bumped by opponents (getting hit with zero coins causes a spin-out); therefore, aim to maintain at least 10 coins throughout the race. Regarding item usage, avoid firing Red Shells blindly. Since the tracks are narrow with sharp turns, it's best to lock on and fire during straightaways or when exiting a corner. You can also hold the L button to trail Banana Peels or Green Shells behind your kart, providing perfect protection against incoming attacks from behind. When facing guardrail-less tracks like the final "Rainbow Road," do not accelerate recklessly. Looking ahead at signposts and initiating a tight inner-line drift is the surest path to victory.
