Game Details:

In the game, players control the protagonist, advancing upwards on a vertically scrolling map. The gameplay is simple and pure: use the joystick for eight-directional movement, with two buttons for an infinite-ammo machine gun and grenades thrown in an arc. Enemies will swarm from all corners of the screen, including not only infantry but also jeeps, motorcycles, and bunkers set in trenches. Players must use precise positioning to dodge bullets and use grenades to blast open locked iron gates or clear out groups of enemies. The game is highly challenging. At the end of each level, there's a fortress guarded by a large number of enemy soldiers, making it an excellent test of a player's reflexes.

Strategy Guide:

Shoot Diagonally:

Since the game supports eight-directional shooting, firing diagonally (e.g., up-left or up-right) often provides better coverage than shooting straight ahead, especially when clearing enemies running in from the sides of the screen.

Prioritize Destroying Bunkers:

Enemies hiding in trenches or behind sandbags are the most dangerous because their positions are fixed and their rate of fire is high. As soon as you see these types of bunkers, immediately use a grenade to eliminate them. Don't be stingy, as grenades can be replenished by picking up supply boxes in the level.

Utilize the Screen Scrolling Mechanic:

The game features forced scrolling, but you can manipulate your movement left and right to control when certain enemies appear. Remember that enemy spawn locations are fixed; memorizing the level layout can significantly reduce the chance of being ambushed.

Rescue Prisoners:

Occasionally in a level, you will see prisoners being escorted by enemy soldiers. Killing the guards to rescue them will award a large number of bonus points, which is key to climbing the high-score rankings in arcade mode.

Fortress Assault:

A large number of enemy soldiers will pour out from the iron gate at the end of each level. It's recommended to save 3-5 grenades before reaching the end. The moment the gate opens, throw them in quick succession while spraying with your machine gun to quickly clear the area and safely complete the level.
