Game Details:

The game "Hegemon Ninjutsu" was released on the arcade platform (Neo Geo) in 1996. The game is set in the dark and gloomy late Japanese Warring States period, telling the story of 10 ninjas and warriors from different schools who fought to defeat the evil overlord "Oda Nobunaga". The game features a delicate art style and smooth action, and its unique weapon deployment system allows players to switch between unarmed and weapon-wielding states in real time. The moves and feel in different states are completely different, bringing great depth of strategy and operation space to the fighting game.

Game Guide:

The core of the game lies in "weapon switching" and "combo burst". All characters can switch between weapon-wielding and unarmed states through special commands (usually BC + D). When wielding weapons, the attack power is strong and the range is wide, while when unarmed, the attack speed is fast and the mobility is high.

Basic combo suggestions: Start with a light attack, confirm the hit, and quickly follow up with a medium attack and then transition to a finishing move.

Universal cheats: After the rage gauge is full, you can unleash the "Super Finishing Move", and when your health is low and the rage gauge is full, you can unleash the highly damaging "True Super Finishing Move".

Character recommendations:

  • The protagonist "Shenwei" has balanced close- and long-range combat abilities, suitable for beginners;
  • "Xia" is an agile ninja who uses aerial movement and high-speed combos to suppress opponents.

In advanced techniques, using the sheathing action to cancel the stun (Kara Cancel) is the key to achieving high-level combo attacks, and you need to repeatedly hone the command rhythm in the practice mode.
