Game Details:

This title is a perfect tribute to Japanese Tokusatsu films like Godzilla. The selectable characters are full of personality: the Godzilla-esque Geon, the giant beetle Beetle Mania, and the Ultraman-like superhero Astro Guy.

The game's combat system isn't just about simple punching and kicking; it deeply incorporates **Wrestling** logic. When two monsters get close, they enter a "Grapple" state. You must then mash buttons to win the power struggle, allowing you to execute powerful moves like suplexes and shoulder throws. The entire city is your battlefield, where tanks, planes, and even high-voltage power poles can be used as strategic tools. The visuals are filled with an aesthetic of destruction, and the collapsing buildings and military intervention make the combat incredibly immersive.

Game Guide:

  • Mashing Speed Determines the Winner: The core of this game is a "test of strength." In a grapple, the faster you mash, the higher your chances of winning. If you find yourself constantly being thrown by the AI, try adjusting your mashing rhythm. After winning a grapple, use the directional keys to perform different throws.
  • Collect Evolution Orbs (P-Items): During battle, destroying specific buildings or military units will drop items marked with a "P." Collect three P-Orbs, and your monster will "evolve," not only growing in size and changing color, but also gaining a significant boost in attack power. Evolving is key to clearing difficult later stages.
  • Utilize Environmental Objects: The power poles and transformers in the city aren't just for decoration. Tossing an opponent into high-voltage wires can cause a paralysis effect, giving you precious time to charge up. Additionally, you can pick up crashed planes or tanks to hurl at distant enemies, which is highly effective against fast-moving opponents.
  • Finishers and Pins: Defeating an opponent isn't just about depleting their health bar. When an opponent is down, you must jump on them for a "pin" like in professional wrestling, holding them until the referee counts to three to secure the win. If you don't pin them in time, they will slowly recover health and get up to counter-attack.
  • Character Recommendations:
    • Geon: Balanced strength and defense, great for beginners. His fire breath attack has long range.
    • Beetle Mania: Possesses an extremely powerful diving attack.
    • Astro Guy: The most agile character with a fast grapple speed, perfect for advanced players who focus on combos.
