Pokémon Super Glazed is an epic fan-made ROM hack based on an extensive, deep reconstruction of the legendary classic, Pokémon Glazed.
"Pokémon: Super Glazed" is a deluxe upgraded version of Redriders180's masterpiece "Pokémon Glazed," featuring a comprehensive overhaul of stats and content by technical enthusiasts. The game's main stage is incredibly grand, as players travel through the vibrant Tunod region, the classic Johto region, and the mysterious Rankor region. Compared to the original "Glazed," this version significantly expands the Pokémon pool, incorporating powerful Pokémon up to Generation VII and VIII (including Alolan forms), and perfectly implements the "Mega Evolution" and "Z-Move" systems in battle. The AI and rosters of all key NPCs, Gym Leaders, and the Elite Four have been rebalanced for a hardcore experience, making it a widely acclaimed masterpiece with immense replayability.
The core gameplay revolves around long-distance progression across multiple regions, cross-generational Pokémon cultivation, and tactical coordination of Mega Evolutions and Z-Moves.
At the start of the game, there are as many as five starter Pokémon to choose from (including Riolu and Zorua). It is highly recommended to choose "Riolu." Once it evolves into Lucario via friendship, its excellent Steel/Fighting typing and its ability to Mega Evolve in later versions make it an absolute core sweeper for conquering all three regions. While exploring the Tunod region, catch a Pokémon with the "Intimidate" ability (such as Shinx, which evolves into Luxray) as early as possible to effectively lower the margin for error in high-difficulty wild encounters and trainer battles. During battles, plan your team’s type coverage carefully, as you will frequently face pincer attacks from Team Rocket and Team Fusion in the mid-game. Before challenging the Rankor League, be sure to use the portable NPCs to adjust your main Pokémon’s Natures and EVs, and equip your Mega Stones. Activating Mega Evolution first in critical battles provides an overwhelming advantage, allowing you to reach the summit of this legendary journey spanning thirty gyms.
