Game Details:

《Pokémon Sovereign of the Skies》 was created over several years by a renowned German ROM hack team. The game takes place in the all-new Asper Region, where cutting-edge technology coexists with classical beauty. In this world, a mysterious organization known as "Team Ammuras" is conspiring to steal the ancient legendary power that controls the skies. The most stunning feature of this title is its visual evolution: the development team completely discarded the original Emerald assets, using exquisite pixel art in the style of the NDS-era Pokémon Black and White to redraw all map structures, character walking animations, and battle screens featuring full dynamic backgrounds. Furthermore, the game implements modernized Gen 4 to Gen 7 moves, the Physical/Special split, Mega Evolution, and a hardcore dynamic NPC difficulty scaling system, elevating the production standards of fan-made ROM hacks to a whole new dimension.

Game Guide:

The core gameplay revolves around "visual exploration" and "hardcore battles against high-intelligence AI."

Campaign Tips:

The game's starters have been meticulously balanced, each possessing highly competitive Hidden Abilities. It is highly recommended to choose the Fire-type starter; the diverse STAB moves it learns later on can effectively counter the Grass, Bug, and Steel-type enemies that appear frequently in the early game. Since the NPC battle AI has been significantly enhanced (enemies will skillfully use defensive switching, status condition control, and coverage moves), it is difficult to mindlessly sweep teams through pure over-leveling. While exploring the Asper Region, make sure to catch a variety of Pokémon and frequently optimize your movesets, utilizing the Move Tutors hidden throughout the map to help your primary sweepers learn coverage moves early. For the mid-game, it is recommended to include a Fairy-type or a powerful Psychic-type Pokémon in your party to effectively counter the Dark and Poison-type lineups frequently used by Team Ammuras admins. When challenging key locations like the Sky Fortress or late-game Gyms, seizing the opportunity to trigger Mega Evolution and utilizing type resistances for defensive switching is the key to winning high-pressure battles.
