Game Details:

Mega Man Battle Network 3: Blue Version was released by CAPCOM in March 2003 in Japan (under the title "Black") and in June for North America on the GBA. Widely considered the pinnacle of the EXE series, the story follows Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE as they join forces to stop the evil organization WWW from reviving the prototype network "Alpha" and destroying the Net Society. Compared to the White Version, the Blue Version features exclusive content such as the boss Punk, Shadow Style, and unique Giga-Class Chips, blending real-time deck-building with deep grid-based tactical combat.

Game Guide:

Style Change System:

Different Styles can be unlocked based on your combat habits. We recommend "Shadow Style" (Blue exclusive; press B for temporary invisibility/invincibility) and "Custom Style" (increases the number of chips available per turn). Combining these with Water, Fire, Wood, or Elec elemental bonuses can significantly boost your survivability.

Folder Building & P.A. Combos:

It is recommended to build mono-code folders (e.g., all P or all S codes). For Program Advances (P.A.), "HyperBurst" (MegaCannon) and "Z-Sword" (Zeta-Sword) are highly recommended for dealing devastating burst damage and flinching enemies on the 3x3 grid.

Exclusive Boss Tactics - Punk:

Punk frequently uses dash attacks and spinning wheel moves. Stay in the back row and move vertically to evade. Use Breaking or Elec-element chips to strike during his post-dash recovery frames.

Defeating the Final Boss - Alpha:

Alpha's outer shell is invincible. Use multi-hit chips or P.A.s to first break the armor covering his chest core. Once the core is exposed, immediately unleash high-damage single-hit chips to deal maximum damage.
