A Taiko no Tatsujin puzzle spin-off where players clear music blocks to win a fireworks festival competition.
Use the directional keys to move the cursor, the A button to rotate blocks, and the B button to confirm elimination. Continuous elimination will accumulate the "Spirit Gauge." When full, press the R button to activate the character's special move (e.g., random elimination of the entire screen). The hidden level "Meteor Shower" requires achieving 100 chains within 30 seconds. Clearing it unlocks the "Note Editor" for creating your own levels!
This underrated Taiko spin-off perfectly blends rhythm games and match-3 puzzles! It features an original "Chain Fireworks" system - when the eliminated blocks form a Taiko pattern, a full-screen effect is triggered, and a classic song fragment is played. The hidden "Oni Difficulty" requires predicting chains of 5 steps or more, and the "Wadaiko Mode," unlocked after collecting all 50 songs, allows you to control the falling blocks with real drumbeats. Although the art style is cute, the feeling of emotion when the melody of "Natsumatsuri" sounds with a quadruple chain of fireworks is no less than a traditional rhythm game!
