"Biomotor Unitron" is the first RPG for the Neo Geo Pocket Color platform, developed by Yumekobo and released by SNK in 1999.
This is a robot RPG with dungeon crawling as its core. Players control the robot Unitron and enter four pseudo-randomly generated dungeons (7 floors). After battles, energy (EP) is restored, and experience is accumulated to improve control capabilities. In the town, you can craft parts, develop new weapons, and interact with NPCs to obtain information or rewards. You can also challenge other robot opponents in the arena.
As a unique RPG on the NGPC platform, "Biomotor Unitron" combines dungeon exploration, equipment development, and arena battles, allowing players to experience the fun of strategy and nurturing in a short but diverse gaming experience. Its rich part combinations (over 200 types), elemental attribute restraint, and arena challenges give the system depth. Coupled with the modern port for Nintendo Switch (including image quality filters, rewind functions, etc.), it is undoubtedly the best choice for players who like dungeon RPGs and robot nurturing.
