Game Details:

The game's most distinctive feature is its "pseudo-3D" movement system, which allows players to move freely around any corner of the battle arena, greatly increasing the freedom of footsies and positioning. Below the character's health bar is an "Emotion Gauge" (Gangan Gauge), and when this gauge is full, a devastating super move can be unleashed. The game features not only hand-to-hand combat, but also weapons like clubs and shovels that randomly drop in the arena. You can even pick up items thrown by the audience to counter-attack. The unique "weapon clash" and grappling interactions during fights make matches incredibly unpredictable, giving the overall atmosphere the feel of a no-holds-barred street brawl. Additionally, the appearance of the classic SNK character Fuuma Kotaro as a guest fighter adds a lot of charm to the game.

Strategy Guide:

  • Utilize Depth and Movement: Since this game supports vertical movement, don't just hold back to block like you would in *Street Fighter*. Use "Z-pattern" or weaving movements to evade your opponent's linear dash attacks and look for opportunities to attack from the flank. This is key to victory.
  • Managing Your Gangan Gauge: Each character's ultimate move (Gangan Attack) can only be used when the Gangan Gauge is full. Before the gauge is full, it's recommended to adopt a defensive, counter-attacking playstyle. Once it's maxed out, be sure to look for the recovery frames after your opponent's attack to land a decisive blow, as the super move has very high priority.
  • Weapons Are Your Lifeline: If a shovel or bat appears in the arena, make it a priority to grab it. Weapons not only extend your attack range, but more importantly, they allow you to block heavy attacks without taking damage. Also, be aware that your weapon will be knocked out of your hands if you're hit by a heavy attack, so be ready to quickly slide and retrieve it.
  • Grapples and Counters: Compared to normal punches and kicks, the throws (grapples) in this game are extremely difficult to defend against. It's recommended to frequently attempt throws when in close quarters or to use them for oki/wakeup pressure as your opponent is getting up. If you get caught in a grapple, rapidly mashing the attack and directional buttons gives you a chance to break free.
  • Stage Interaction Details: Pay attention to the crowd in the background; they sometimes throw out healing items or explosives. Push your opponent into a corner or against an obstacle; using wall bounces to extend combos can inflict massive burst damage.
