Game Details:

Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2 is a tactical role-playing game developed by Banpresto, released in Japan in February 2005 and in North America in 2006 for the Game Boy Advance. As the second entry in the OG series, it continues the narrative following the Sealed War of the previous title. Facing the dual threat of the Einst (Neu Regisseur) and new invaders from another world, original protagonists such as Kyosuke Nanbu, Excellen Browning, and Gilliam Jaeger take to the field once again piloting formidable mecha. The game features some of the finest pixel-art battle animations on the GBA alongside an epic, expansive storyline.

Strategy Guide:

Battle Mastery & Secrets:

Every stage features Battle Mastery conditions; completing them increases the difficulty and unlocks high-tier equipment, hidden units, and mecha such as the Granzon and Alteisen Riese. Prioritizing pilots with high evasion and high damage output is highly recommended.

Recommended Core Units & Pilots:

Kyosuke Nanbu (Alteisen) possesses tremendous single-target physical burst damage; combining him with the "Strike" and "Valor" Spirit Commands allows him to melt bosses quickly. Excellen Browning (Weissritter) excels at long-range kiting, while the Angelg and Granzon serve as the backbone for mid-to-late game AoE wave clears and frontline pushes.

Weapon Upgrades & PP Allocation:

Prioritize fully upgrading the signature weapons of your core units (such as the Alteisen's Revolving Stake). Allocate Pilot Points (PP) into skills like "Chain Attack," "E-Save," and "Second Attack" to substantially boost combat endurance and turn-by-turn damage efficiency.

Boss Battle Strategies:

When confronting high-tier bosses with Barriers and the "Potential" ability, use support characters to cast "Direct Hit" or "Analyze" to undermine their defenses first. Then, finish them in a single burst using high-damage Combination Attacks (such as Kyosuke and Excellen's combo attack).
