Game Overview:

*Super Robot Taisen D* is a tactical role-playing game released by Banpresto for the Game Boy Advance in Japan in August 2003 (with the "D" standing for "Destiny"). The game features a post-apocalyptic opening exceptionally rare for the series: right at the start, Earth is mysteriously destroyed and vanishes into thin air. Playing as original protagonist Joshua (or Rim) piloting an original mecha, players rally alongside survivors from series such as *Getter Robo Armageddon*, *Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack*, and *The Big O* to form an allied resistance, desperate to uncover the truth of the world and save the universe against all odds.

Strategy Guide:

Dual Protagonists & Mecha Selection:

It is highly recommended to choose the male protagonist, Joshua, whose frame-swapping original mecha excels at both close-quarters and ranged combat. The male and female protagonists can serve as each other's sub-pilot; freely configuring their Spirit Command combinations provides immense tactical flexibility in battle.

Top Recommended Units:

*Shin Getter Robo* boasts top-tier single-target burst damage; paired with "Valor" and "Strike," it is your primary boss-slayer. In *Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack*, Amuro and Char's exceptional evasion combined with "Focus" makes them ideal for front-line baiting and whittling down enemy HP. Meanwhile, Basara from *Macross 7* provides game-changing buffs and Morale gains through his Song Commands.

Weapon Upgrades & PP Allocation:

Prioritize maxing out the EN capacity and main offensive weapons of your core units. For Pilot Points (PP), prioritize teaching your primary pilots "E-Save", "Hit & Away", and "Combo" to dramatically enhance tactical mobility and combat sustainability.

Tactics for High-Difficulty Bosses:

When confronting high-HP bosses equipped with Prevail and barrier fields, lead with support pilots casting "Daunt" to lower their Morale. Once weakened, unleash your main units' strongest finishing moves backed by "Strike" and "Valor" (or "Soul") to take them down in a single devastating burst.
