A high-quality fan-made ROM hack built on the engine of the Fire Emblem GBA trilogy.
"Fire Emblem: Cerulean Crescent" was released around 2020, developed by an overseas fan group using the "Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones" engine. Set on an entirely new continent, the game tells the story of the protagonist gathering allies to defy fate amidst a turbulent political landscape. Although it is a fan project, it features complete original art assets, map designs, and a moving soundtrack. As a classic SRPG, the game emphasizes resource management, character growth, and rigorous tactical decision-making, earning high praise from series veterans.
The core gameplay lies in the masterful application of the "Weapon Triangle" and "Terrain Defense" bonuses.
The Lord character who joins in the early game has balanced stat growth; it is recommended to prioritize feeding them experience to ensure survival. While Pegasus Knights are fragile, they are the key to reaching distant villages.
Note that since this is a ROM hack, some personal weapons have limited durability and should be reserved for high-intensity boss battles in the late game.
